What more can you say. This allows me to plug in a sixaxis mid game and to continue playing from my couch.Short version.This a good quality cable, that is long enough to charge a controller while playing a game. Someone said that it was slightly longer than the one that came with the PS3. I guess that depends on which PS3 as for mine it is over three times the length of the included cable.
This one replaces it, it's a little longer than the original and it works. I lost the USB cable that came with the Play Station 3. What can you say about a cable. It works.
It does charge just fine, but looks awful as it retains it's unattractive folded shape long after being stretched out. It is both flimsy and stiff. I already had an Intec charging cable and thought from the pictures that this one would match it in appearance. Unfortunately it's pretty lame.
long cord, charge perfectly, even the materials this thing is made of are very good.
Since I didn't have to pay for it (I got the 'pair' bundle), I don't mind them being around but their utility is marginal for anyone but a hardcore gamer who does not keep a spare, charged Sixaxis. You get a 'longer' USB cable. It can be useful when your Sixaxis needs a charge and you want to keep playing while it's charging - something that's not happening very often.
